Container desiccants are specifically designed to control moisture issues associated with sea container shipping and storage. Fluctuations in temperature and humidity levels create a dew concentration phenomenon, commonly known as “container rain”. Left unchecked, this can severely damage the cargoes contents with dampness and mould. Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) is the main absorbing ingredient in these container desiccants. Products have a high absorbency, are non-flammable, non-toxic and recyclable (or disposed with regular waste).
